		<description>I&#039;d be inclined to count a married couple as one ... for many of the reasons you cite. Another valid one is that it&#039;s hard for a couple to speak out against each other (even in love) so unless the team works on the principle of only going forward by unanimous agreement there is already the potential for imbalance in decision making.

Glad you noted that both the wife and husband in the couple can be part of the leadership though. I think that&#039;s important for a range of reasons. But there will also be times when the wife or husband is not a leader but part of the group ... so it shouldn&#039;t be assumed either.</description>
